For some of us, this Thanksgiving will mean more than ever. My colleague at the paper, Cathy Frye, I believe knows this more than many others thanks to her survival against the odds after getting lost in the wilderness of a Texas state park. She talks about the slow process of healing in her latest Arkie Mama blog entry, and it’s worth a read over at the Little Rock Mamas site.

I’m thankful that she’s safe again.

And yes, I’m thankful for the goofy things in my life, and I’ll write about that next time (promise!).
