I don’t know what comment section Ms. Looper is reading! Who quotes Einstein or Oscar Wilde and why would they quote them saying something that they did not say? I do quote Mark Twain a bit, but I usually cite the source of the quote.

Pop— The quote thing is a separate rant not necessarily related to comment boards (I really was awfully cranky). I see people using fake quotes as well as sketchy video/story links, random insults, etc., just about everywhere, usually because they’re not interested in actual debate. 😉
And ARMNAR … why’d ya have to insult cranks? 😀

Packman, Brenda handles the letters page of the paper. There is a physical entity called the Arkansas Democrat Gazette so ya know and people write letters and opinion pieces that they SIGN. So, she does more than monitor an anonymous chat board. Three people apply for a job making comments on an anonymous chat board… oh that is right, no one gets paid for that. Yet you are here posting during working hours so….???? Are you paid for that?

Hey kdc – Simma down now, simma down. Brenda is no doubt a talented individual and by all accounts a hard worker. There always seems to be truth in what she says. And yes, being self-employed and the CEO of a little LLC with managers doing all the heavy lifting, I have ample time during normal work hours to piss off libs.
