Sunday soon

Tomorrow I’ll be back on the road in my own car (named Lillie, after Mama). It was really more than I can afford, but I’ll make it work somehow (and hey, if you need a house/cat-sitter, I’m available; gotta pay for the ride, ya know). In honor of Lillie, two versions of a car song I love.

I have to admit it: I have never seen the Cars franchise. It’s one of the few Disney movie series I never had much of an interest in seeing, but Rascal Flatts rocks.
Oooooh, that harmonica …

  1. Cars do seem to have personalities. Your post kicked off a memory of my first car. Dad bought me a 1938 Plymouth two-door which I called Bessemer. It had a one-piece windshield (flat), three-on-the-floor shift and a six-cylinder straight-block engine. Not jazzy, but to a young man it was freedom.
